Very fishy. The only swimming going on was into my wallet. Kids progress at a snail's pace, if at all. Dear Yen, For the second time, what's your phone number? I'd love to talk you into getting my money back. Don't try to have Google delete this accurate review. This review is the real deal. Tiger

We had an exceptional experience at this location. My baby was only 6 months old and cried throughout the class, so I was very nervous. However, all the instructors and Director Yen were extremely professional, patient, and kind, which made me feel very comfortable. In the end, my baby loved it. We’re really happy we came here!

We have been so pleasantly surprised with how great this place is! At first, we were nervous because it is in a small hotel pool and it seemed like it would be crowded, but now that we’ve been doing lessons for a few months, I’m happy to say that’s not the case at all. They use multiple coaches per lesson, so often each kid has their own coach even though they charge you for a group lesson. As soon as your kid is ready to move up, they move them right through the levels— they aren’t trying to keep you there forever. Conversely, if your kid needs a little more help, they take the time to work with them at their own pace and don’t rush them. Some other places don’t really have a clear curriculum, so our kids didn’t seem to be working towards anything. That is not the case at all here. While the lessons can be a bit repetitive, the kids don’t seem to mind and the result is that they gain that muscle memory quickly and remember what they practice from week to week. The coaches are really patient and skilled, even with neurodivergent students. We love Godfrey, Yashua, Samantha, and Brielle, but I’m sure everyone is great. We are having a wonderful experience with British Swim School. We initially chose this program due to their focus on water safety. We stayed with the program because it has been very effective in teaching our child swim skills. It has also been a positive, fun experience that our child looks forward to each week! Each session is consistently well organized and the instruction has been thoughtful and responsive to my child’s needs. The kids are engaged in songs and games and the parents are shown how to best support their child’s learning of each swim skill. This program has more rigor and structure than your typical Mommy and Me swim class, but is not as intense as some other approaches to swim instruction. Overall, I highly recommend British Swim School- my little one is learning so much, and it continues to be an overwhelmingly positive experience for both of us!

We are so incredibly happy with the British Swim School at Sonesta Hotel! Both of our daughters take swim classes here and it has been a wonderful experience! The entire team is so attentive to the children and parents! The instructors are amazing! Our daughters are young (5 and 3 years old) and they look forward to every class! They have also made great progress over the last few months. We will be enrolling our 3rd daughter very soon as well! Thank you Yen and team for your incredible professionalism and amazing swimming progress that you have enabled for our children!
